The NB7120 series from Nisshinbo Micro Devices is a high-side N-channel MOSFET drive type that facilitates communication by preventing differences in ground levels between the system side and the battery pack side. By enhancing the overcharge detection accuracy (from -20°C to 60°C) and the charge/discharge overcurrent detection accuracy to industry-leading levels, it improves the safety of the equipment. Additionally, by stopping the internal circuit, it minimizes the current consumption after over-discharge detection, which helps to reduce the depletion of battery capacity during inventory periods before product sales.
